Denise M. Kight

Denise M. Kight, CNM, MSN, is a nurse-reviewer at Crowe & Mulvey, LLP. She is involved in the evaluation of medical cases. She brings to the firm more than 25 years of clinical experience in obstetrics, gynecology, and newborn care. Before pursuing advanced practice licensure, Denise taught courses for nurses in obstetrics, gynecology and neonatal care in various hospitals and nursing programs in Texas and Massachusetts. She became nationally board certified in nurse-midwifery in 1996 and practiced in Massachusetts and Rhode Island before joining the firm. When she was in full-time clinical practice she was also a clinical instructor for nurse practitioner and nurse midwifery students from the University of Rhode Island and Boston University and for medical students and residents from UMASS Medical School and Harvard Medical School. She is certified as a childbirth educator in Neonatal Resuscitation, in which she also serves as an instructor, and in advanced fetal monitoring. Her clinical practice still includes gynecology and obstetrics with special interest in clinical education, primary care of women, high risk obstetrics, and gynecologic cancer screening.

Denise was born in Massachusetts and lived in many states before returning in 1990. She has been married for twenty-five years, has four sons, and speaks Spanish and French.
