Two drivers hurt in Fall River accident

Two individuals were taken to the hospital after incurring injuries in a dump truck-car collision along Massachusetts Route 24 in Fall River on September 3 at around 11:40 a.m., an NBC 10 News article stated.

Immediately following the accident, traffic was backed up for more than 1 mile on the ramp for Airport Road, with only one lane of traffic open for public use due to police investigation of the scene. The roads were opened again after 2 p.m.

Responding to the crash was the Fall River Fire Department, which transported both drivers of the dump truck and the car, a 58-year-old Mattapan man and a 47-year-old North Dartmouth man respectively, to Rhode Island Hospital.
